National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Link
Built in 1965 in anticipation of the canonization of Elizabeth Ann Seton, the Shrine is a beautiful tribute to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. The Shrine is located in Emmitsburg, Maryland, a small historic town in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains 22 miles north of Frederick, Maryland on U.S. 15, left to 333 South Seton Avenue, or 10 miles south of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This was the valley home of Elizabeth Ann Seton from 1809 until her death on January 4, 1821.
